2024 UPDATE: Due to the Iowa Caucuses, the 2024 Land Investment Expo will be held in HyVee Hall at the Iowa Events Center. The Land Investment Expo keynote presentations and breakout sessions will take place at the Iowa Events Center’s HyVee Hall in downtown Des Moines. HyVee Hall is conveniently accessed through the skywalk system from the Hilton Des Moines Downtown or the entrance near the corner of 3rd Street and Park Street if accessing off of I-235. Event parking is available in the paid lots on the north side of the Iowa Events Center.
The room block at the Hilton Downtown Des Moines is SOLD OUT. A second room block has been secured at the Hotel Fort Des Moines, conveniently located a few blocks from the event center. The room block has been reserved for January 8-10 for a nightly rate of $239 plus tax for Land Expo guests and attendees. The discounted rate will be available until December 18, or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. |
Peoples Company holds the pre-expo event at the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates each year as a thoughtful reminder of the mission and impact of the agricultural industry. In honor of Dr. Norman Borlaug, Nobel Peace Prize winner and World Food Prize founder, the century-old Des Moines public library was revived by the World Food Prize Foundation. The building now serves as a museum to recognize significant achievements in agriculture and fighting hunger and an educational facility featuring interactive displays on hunger and food security.
