EXPO HISTORY

EXPO HISTORY

The inaugural Land Investment Expo, launched in 2008, was designed to unite key players in the agriculture sector. It quickly earned its reputation as one of the nation’s premier forums for agricultural networking and industry insights, by encompassing all aspects of the industry. The Expo has become a vital gathering for prominent institutional investors, national agricultural organizations, leading economists, and political figures to explore and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the industry on a global scale. After over a decade of success, the Land Investment Expo has become the benchmark for setting the industry's tone each January.

In 2019, Peoples Company formed a strategic partnership with The Land Report to cultivate a thriving community for landowners. This collaboration provides access to cutting-edge industry knowledge, and each year, during the pre-Expo event, The Land Report unveils its prestigious Land Report 100, offering an in-depth look at the nation's largest landowners. This alliance enhances the land industry’s dialogue by providing valuable market insights and fostering meaningful connections.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Land Investment Expo quickly pivoted to a hybrid model, ensuring the event could continue by offering in-person and virtual participation options. The Expo continues offering attendees the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and first-class content, regardless of where they are, by continuing to offer a virtual option. Today, the Expo proudly draws a loyal community of over 1,800 participants from around the world, both in person and online, ensuring that the event remains dynamic, accessible, and relevant to the evolving needs of the industry.
